Hace un mes aproximadamente hablamos del plugin Contact Form 7<\/strong> de WordPress<\/strong><\/a>. Esta extensi\u00f3n nos permite realizar de forma bastante sencilla un formulario de contacto para nuestra p\u00e1gina web o blog realizado en WordPress<\/strong>. Los buscadores y robots encontrar\u00e1n la p\u00e1gina y el formulario al pasar unos d\u00edas de haber colgado la p\u00e1gina a la red. Es entonces cuando se puede empezar a recibir spam al correo electr\u00f3nico si no se ha prevenido antes este problema.<\/p>\n

Para evitar recibir spam al correo electr\u00f3nico, Contact Form 7<\/strong> presenta dos alternativas: la opci\u00f3n CAPTCHA<\/strong> o la opci\u00f3n Akismet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

CAPTCHA<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Instalar la extensi\u00f3n Really Simple CAPTCHA.<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Una vez instalado este plugin, podremos crear un campo del tipo CAPTCHA<\/strong> al crear o editar nuestro formulario.<\/li>\n
  3. Al insertar el formulario a una p\u00e1gina del website, aparecer\u00e1 un campo donde el usuario deber\u00e1 introducir los caracteres mostrados en una imagen, evitando as\u00ed el spam generado por robots. Tal vez queramos evitar tener que a\u00f1adir un c\u00f3digo CAPTCHA<\/strong> al formulario para facilitar el env\u00edo del formulario al usuario y, quiz\u00e1 por esta raz\u00f3n, es interesante la siguiente opci\u00f3n que utiliza la extensi\u00f3n Akismet<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Akismet<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Activar la extensi\u00f3n Akismet<\/strong>, que ya viene instalada por defecto con WordPress<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Configurar correctamente Akismet<\/strong>, con una clave API de WordPress<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Al crear o editar uno de los campos del formulario, tendremos que a\u00f1adir, por ejemplo, en el campo nombre, el atributo siguiente: akismet:author<\/strong>. Quedando el campo de la siguiente forma: [text* nombre akismet:author]<\/strong><\/em>. Si tenemos, por ejemplo, un campo e-mail, el campo quedar\u00e1 de la siguiente manera: [email* email-usuario akismet:author_email]<\/strong><\/em>.<\/li>\n
    4. Esta opci\u00f3n utilizando Akismet<\/strong> es realmente efectiva y no hace falta a\u00f1adir ning\u00fan campo adicional a rellenar por el usuario. A la p\u00e1gina web del plugin Contact Form 7<\/strong><\/a> pod\u00e9is encontrar m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n al respecto.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
